Biography of Scott Curtis

Scott Curtis is Vice President and principal broker at First Choice Business Brokers – Charlotte. He graduated from The University of South Carolina on a football scholarship majoring in Economics and Finance with a second major in management. Prior to First Choice Scott owned and operated a subcontracting company in the commercial construction industry. He and his wife Christie also owned a multi office tax preparation franchise practice, and later an Area Developer franchise where they bought/sold businesses and consulted with entrepreneurs to increase their company’s value through better business practices. Scott understands the joys and the challenges of the entrepreneur. He has taken great pride in bringing people together to a win-win conclusion whether it is a lifelong dream of business ownership or the next step in a calculated venture. Scott and his wife Christie started First Choice Charlotte to leverage their business skills and consulting experience gained from working with some of the greatest entrepreneurs of our time. They enjoy doing life together whether it is traveling and athletic pursuits, spending time with their family or teaching the Bible at their church.
